Under ideal conditions, our extra-large grand luminary 1.3L candles can burn for over 100 hours. Our 500g candles can last up to 75 hours, and the 200g candles can burn for up to 40 hours. Please note that while we strive to make all our candles as long-lasting as possible, burn times can vary based on several factors. These factors include candle maintenance (whether wicks are being properly trimmed and centred), the length of each continuous burn time (a longer burn that creates a deeper melted wax pool may lead to faster evaporation), candle placement (air-conditioned and draughty areas may affect burn times), and the age of the candle. To maximise your candle's lifespan, we always recommend following the enclosed burning instructions.

A 200ml Fragrance Diffuser will last up to three months once opened. Environmental factors, such as direct sunlight and breezes, as well as how often you flip your reeds, can impact the lifespan of your Fragrance Diffuser. For the best performance, we encourage you to follow the enclosed care instructions.

Yes. As the wax level drops, the wicks effectively become longer, so we advise trimming the wicks to 7mm and ensuring they are upright before each new burn.

The perception of fragrances can vary greatly due to many factors, including the style of the fragrance and its construction by the perfumer, such as the notes used and their concentration. Our mood, level of alertness, and the environment in which we smell them also play significant roles. For instance, a fragrance smelled in the morning may be perceived differently later in the afternoon due to our body’s circadian rhythm. Some fragrances build over time and linger, often more powdery and feminine with musk or light sugared candy notes, while others have strong, punchy notes like caramel, citrus, and tropical fruits that demand attention.

Burning your candle for less than one hour may prevent the wax from melting all the way to the outside, causing tunnelling, which leaves unmelted wax around the edges and can reduce fragrance throw and wick performance. Burning for more than four hours can cause the wick to become too long, potentially touching the side of the glass or overheating it.

We recommend stopping burning your candle when there is 10mm of wax left to ensure there is enough wax to absorb the heat of the flame. Burning below this level can cause the glass to overheat and potentially crack.

A candle wick needs to be trimmed between burns or after burning for two or more hours continuously. The wicks should be trimmed to about 7mm to prevent the candle from emitting carbon, which forms the black residue. If black residue appears on the glass, use a dry paper towel to wipe it clean.

The fragrance diffuser solution can oxidise after being opened. The perfume in the diffuser interacts with oxygen, which can affect its colour, similar to how a sliced apple changes colour when exposed to air. This shouldn’t affect the performance of the diffuser.
